ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Phil Kling embarked on a new stand-up career just prior to Covid.  He was attending open mic nights throughout the Boston area and making a little name for himself, even snapping up a few emcee gigs.  Unfortunately, his stage appearances often came after 11:00 p.m. and more than once he needed to be awakened to perform.

Apparently, there is no market for stand-up comics who can only attend early bird dinners.

Unable to stand up or, because of a physical issue, to sit down, Phil’s writing suffered.  Hard work, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture and cranial sacral voo doo have gotten him back to the computer.  This former writer for Stiller and Meara wanted to present a serious pilot with serious themes.  Inspired by Don’t Look Up, you’ll see how that went.
