Next Monday, we take a new look at Andrew Lemelman’s re-write of his TV pilot Iron Walkers. Andrew has been refining this intriguing tale of ambition and family dysfunction for over a year.

LOGLINES:

Series Logline: An overextended, family-led construction company battles jealous rivals, public officials, and uninspired, greedy and distracted relatives to stave off collapse.

Season 1 Logline: After her unlikely election, the company’s epileptic president confronts an overzealous, revenge-driven investigator determined to prove a workplace accident was no accident.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Andrew Lemelman has been an attorney in Boston for over 30 years and became interested in screenwriting through a friend way too many years ago.
To date he has written several feature length screenplays (and even more incomplete ones), mostly dramatic ranging in topics from a John Grisham style sports story to an immigration thriller. Some are inspired by client relationships and issues, with one on a locally-based, true sports story.

In addition to writing, Andrew has done some limited, legal work on an award-winning independent film, and handled the life story rights for an Emmy nominated, sports documentary about his friend and beloved Boston Red Sox pitcher, Luis Tiant.
