On Monday, February 1st, we’ll be reviewing Noi Sabal’s script, Man Date, which she describes as a comedy like Planes, Trains and Automobiles meets Misery.
Log Line: An uptight CEO gets trapped in a remote cabin with his future brother-in-law, a scruffy stoner he’s never met, for a three-day blizzard from hell.
Since attending Emerson College and UCF Film School, Noi has been working in film and television as a video editor and broadcast designer since 1994. She’s worked in episodic TV (half-hour comedy, sketch comedy, hour drama), feature films, and commercials.
After decades of cutting together footage that brings other people’s scripts to life, Noi is finally returning to her original film school dream of writing screenplays herself.

The meeting will be held at 66 Winthrop Street in Cambridge, at 7:00 p.m. Dues are $15.
