Senior member, Charlie Lyons will be presenting his latest pilot, C.I. next Monday, April 16th.
Prosecutors know a bit about the issues involving criminal behavior and how it might be handled by law enforcement. So, it’s no surprise that this defense attorney/former prosecutor might take a shot at writing a series like this.
Logline:
A recovering addict’s efforts to stay clean and keep custody of her young son are complicated when she crosses paths with a detective who’s looking to recruit a confidential informant.
About the Author:
Charlie Lyons has been writing feature scripts and TV pilots for … a while. A number of them have placed in various contests. His half-hour comedy pilot The DuChamps was a semifinalist (top 1%) in the 2016 Austin Film Festival, and was also the winner of the Original Comedy category of CineStory’s 2017 TV/Digital competition. Additionally, his drama feature Strays (written with Rodrigo Monterrey) and a Transparent spec script advanced to the second round (top 15%) at Austin in 2016.
Charlie is also a former prosecutor and currently works as a criminal defense attorney. He sincerely hopes you’ll never need his legal services.
