Next week come to Harvard Square Scriptwriters to review Rich Faymonville’s pilot, Tectonic City, then celebrate the end of our semester.
Logline: The US Government, driven underground by an impending meteor strike, tasks a doctor, struggling with her own mortality, to save humanity.
Rich graduated with a BS from Emerson College in 1999. He taught for seven years in the Boston Public School System and worked for four years in Los Angeles in various jobs from Production Assistant to Personal Assistant at Stage 1901, Disponyi, Inc, and for the producer Candace Gosch. In 2007, his script, The Devil His Due won best dramatic screenplay at the Woods Hole Film Festival. Since then, Richard has focused on his passion for storytelling and has worked in film production and screenwriting, producing and directing two micro-budget feature films, Sympathy for the Brokenhearted and Revenge Fantasies, Inc.. He has completed his first rewrite assignment for an independent company, Russell Pond, Inc, in Brooklyn, New York. Most recently Richard’s script Zombie A Go-Go, achieved Second Rounder status at the 2015 Austin Film Festival. Zombie A Go-Go was also an official selection of: the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Fest; the Buffalo/Niagara International Film Fest; ZedFest Film Fest; the StarGate Galactic Sci-Fi – Fantasy – Horror Film Fest and the WeScreenplay International Screenplay Competition. His feature film Revenge Fantasies, Inc. won 2nd place in the no-budget category of the 2015 International New York Film Fest Rich is on the board of Harvard Square Script Writers and on the Production Team of the Different Faces, Different Voices Film Festival.
