Don’t Miss Our Next Review On Monday, Feb 6th Of Selene Angier’s Historical Feature, THE RINGER

February 6, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$10.00

We hope you can join us virtually on Monday, February 6th for a discussion of THE RINGER written by Selene Angier and Saul Williams.

Logline: When the family business goes up in flames at the end of the Great Depression, the lady of the house takes over — and boom — a bookie is born.

Project Type: Drama/period piece

About the Author: Selene Angier is a content manager + marketing copywriter for e-commerce, education and tech companies, with a background in arts editorial at the Boston Metro newspaper. The Ringer, co-written with her former Metro editor Saul Williams, is based in part on a family story. (The other ‘in parts’ are made up — especially the explosions and murders.) This is her first screenplay—she has never taken a screenwriting course, has never entered (nevermind won!) a screenwriting contest, and may have attended a couple of film festivals.
