It’s April in April! When April Lecours Shares Her New Comedy Feature, FANDOM on Monday, April 14th

Logline: After winning only two tickets to their music idols tour of the century, three lifelong friends must navigate distance, time and each other to finally enter the fandom.
About The Author:
April Lecours is a filmmaker, editor, and director with a passion for bringing stories to life through compelling visuals.
After earning her B.S. from Oregon State University in Wildlife Science, she attended Vancouver Film School in Vancouver B.C. where she fell in love with visual storytelling. Hoping to combine her passion for wildlife with film, she moved to Boston to work with Rubin Tarrant Productions. As a production assistant she worked on programming for the BBC, ANIMAL PLANET and PBS.
As a production manager at PAX-TV, April provided high concept video and editing for clients such as Disney, Universal Studios, American Airlines, Segway and Irish Tourism, traveling both nationally and internationally, creating programming.
April started her own production company, Global Trek Productions where she built a traveling studio with lights, robotic cameras and switcher and produced over 1,000 public service shows for ION media in 14 different markets.
April’s love of film and story-telling continues today. She directed and edited the short, THE DINNER, which was selected as entry into multiple film festivals and edited the sci-fi feature ATOMIC POOP: A LOVE STORY, which can be seen on Tubi TV.
April is always striving to get better at her craft, be it in writing, editing or directing and is excited to share her comedy with you.
*This comedy was written for the GIRLZ RULE National Lampoons script competition. It required female leads in the vein of National Lampoon-type comedies, ANIMAL HOUSE, VACATION, CHRISTMAS VACATION, etc.
