On Monday, October 30th, we will meet at 6:00 PM EST at the Foundry to review Joel Karlinsky’s substantially re-written feature, SAY GOOD NIGHT, GRACIE.

This will be a hybrid event so ANYONE ANYWHERE can sign-up and participate.

It’s great to be back meeting in-person though! So, come on out and join the fun.

Genine will be bringing some Halloween snacks as a reward for those showing up.  A few things we’ve noticed after 4 trips to the Foundry:

– parking is readily available and cheap as the meters go off at 6:00

– if driving from the west inbound, you are going against traffic so it’s not a bad commute

– there are quite a few restaurants nearby

– it’s fun to be in the same space

– the drive home at after 8:00 is a snap, heading west outbound. Or, probably in any direction.

LOGLINE: In a crumbling near future world, a disillusioned waste-disposal man and his alien robot associate seek revenge from an evil corporation determined to destroy them.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Joel’s a graduate of MIT, Tufts Medical School, the BU School of Management and earned a Certificate in Screenwriting from UCLA. He’s now a Emeritus Professor of Medicine at BU and a long time member of the Harvard Square Scriptwriters. Joel’s written many features and several plays, mostly comedic. Many have done well in screenwriting contests.

SAY GOOD NIGHT, GRACIE is a story about the massive effort that would be necessary to save our planet from environmental extinction and whether in fact, humanity is worth saving.
