Monday, May 18th we will review Bob Tremblay’s adaptation of Mark Klett’s sci-fi novel, CONVERGENCE OF EVIL
As always, we’ll meet from 7:00 – 9:00 PM virtually.
LOGLINE: A U.S. intelligence analyst uncovers a hidden connection between a global terrorist attack and advanced non-human technology, drawing him into a covert war between rival alien factions and a shadow network within the government competing for control of Earth’s future.
GENRE(S): Sci-Fi Thriller / Political Thriller
ABOUT THE NOVELIST: Mark N. Klett is a U.S. Navy veteran and defense professional whose career in national security and systems engineering informs his approach to storytelling. His work is grounded in real-world experience, blending military insight, global conflict, and speculative elements into high-concept narratives.
His debut novel, Convergence of Evil, was inspired by the unanswered questions and hidden complexities surrounding the events of 9/11. The story explores the intersection of government secrecy, emerging technologies, and the possibility of forces operating beyond human awareness, creating a layered thriller that challenges perceptions of truth, power, and control.
Klett’s transition into writing reflects a natural extension of his storytelling, with a focus on adapting complex, high-concept narratives into cinematic form, while maintaining tension, clarity, and emotional impact. Read more at ConvergenceofEvil.com.
