LOGLINE: When a gay brother abruptly withdraws amidst personal turmoil from his senate race, his reluctant, blogger sister enters to save their divided community, and maybe even herself.

GENRE: Drama

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Andrew Lemelman has been an attorney in Boston for over 30 years and became interested in screenwriting through a friend way too many years ago.

To date he has written several feature length screenplays (and even more incomplete ones), mostly dramatic topics ranging from a John Grisham style legal/sports story to an immigration thriller, to a local, dynastic family TV drama .

Currently, he is excited to be working with our HSSW Director Genine Tillotson, on the development of the true-life sports story of the late football coach Dan Allen.

Most recently Andy was elected to the HSSW Board and is the Treasurer. He is looking forward to being more involved with its group of very talented and devoted writers.

And we’re excited to have him!
