Our Penultimate Script Review of Spring ’16 – Harvey Yazijian’s “Fear Springs Eternal,” Monday May 16th

Welcome to the world of prolific author, Harvey Yazijian as we explore his script Fear Springs Eternal.

Logline:

A young woman intent on suicide is snowbound in an inn with a handful of guests, including a preternatural sexual psychopath. As guests are slaughtered one by one, she rediscovers her will to live while struggling to survive, only to be framed for the murders.

Harvey’s a professional writer and internationally published author. He has optioned several properties in the past and had a script in development. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times and serialized in The London Times. For his day job, he writes marketing communications for global technology companies. He also serves as developmental editor for TERC, a leading science and math education think tank where he works on cutting-edge K–12 science education for the National Science Foundation, NASA, and others.

In the past two years, since Harvey has been submitting to contests, here are his pretty terrific results: Saving Liberty was a finalist in the 2016 International Screenwriters’ Association Fast Track contest. Love in a Rogue World was a 2015 PAGE Awards quarter finalists, a semi-finalist in the Table Read My Screenplay Contest, a quarter-finalist in the Stage 32 Happy Writers 2nd Annual Search for New Blood Screenwriting Contest, and a quarter-finalist in the Screencraft Action/Thriller contest. Banshee was a 2015 PAGE Awards quarter-finalist and a semi-finalist in the Table Read My Screenplay Contest. The Afterlife of Erotica Evans was a finalist in the 2015 Extreme Screenplay Contest sponsored by Extreme Screenwriting.
