Script Review for Rebecca Schauer’s Script, “Metastasis,” Monday February 22nd

Some of you heard Rebecca pitch, Metastasis to Stage32. Now, on Monday February 22nd, we will be reviewing the whole narrative.

RebeccaSchauerLog Line: A 15-year hold cancer research-obsessed science prodigy will stop at nothing to win the prestigious Dupont Prize, believing it will catapult him out of the awkwardness and banality of high school and into the professional world.

About Rebecca: Rebecca has always looked to her unique life experiences as a classically-trained violist and public schools orchestra director for inspiration in her writing. Her character-driven comedies and comedy-dramas deal largely with coming-of-age and finding meaning in one’s surroundings. She has been a quarterfinalist for both the 2015 Stage32 Happy Writers TV Pilot Competition and the 2014 BlueCat Screenplay Competition, and has also served as a judge for the 2015 Stage32 Short Films Contest.

The meeting will be held at 66 Winthrop Street in Cambridge, at 7:00 p.m. Dues are $15.
