A Software Veteran Mines His Life for a Rivetting Story — Up On March 31st

Joe McIsaac has been the founder of numerous software enterprises in his long and varied career.  As the McIsaac-headshotwide1creator of the first company to develop a C++ compiler (long before Microsoft), he knows what it’s like to be on the bleeding edge.

McIsaac’s screenplay, Impossible Dream, explores the experience of breaking new technological ground in an industry where not everyone will not be as lucky as Bill Gates or Larry Ellison.

His log line — A software entrepreneur, filled with love of life and passion, leads his team of quirky engineers on a relentless quest to launch a software company from the basement of his home, overcoming unimaginable obstacles and betrayals to protect his family and realize his impossible dream.

Joe McIsaac’s first screenplay effort will be reviewed on Monday, March 31st , at 72 Columbus Street, Newton.  Doors open at 6:30, meeting begins at 7:00.  Dues $15.00 and includes snacks.
