Steve Dahill Revisits the World of ’70s Rock With “Broken Strings” on 2/24

On February 24th we look forward to reviewing Steve Dahill’s re-write of his feature, Broken Strings.  He is also busily creating music to accompany this project! 

LOGLINE:
A forgotten singer struggles with overwhelming guilt while fighting his replacement – who would rather see him dead – in order to redeem himself in the eyes of a young singer who reminds him of the daughter he never knew.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Steve has been playing guitar since he was in 7 th grade. He has written over 100 songs and recorded in Nashville at the Music Mill Recording Studios. He has performed as a solo artist and as part of popular duos in Colorado, Newport, Rhode Island, New Orleans and in his home in Massachusetts.

Later in his career, Steve became a minority owner of a leading American guitar company where he learned the fine art of guitar manufacturing and marketing. Today, he maintains a collection of rare guitars which he plays on a regular basis.

Steve has also written two historical novels of sea adventures and is in the process of finding an agent and publisher. Broken Strings is Steve’s second feature film script alongside The Gondola Club which tells the story of ski racers and locals living a Colorado ski town in the 1970s where a fatal gondola accident changes everyone’s life.

Steve is an entrepreneur and a former executive in leading software companies in Massachusetts and California. He lives in Boston and Marion, MA where he spends summer months racing sailboats and winters skiing.
