Monday, March 5, 2018, we will discuss THE BLACKLIST “Where Filmmakers and Writers Meet” and will then deconstruct BLACK LIST notable script, “Fairy Godmother,” selected by Missy Cohen Fyffe as a personal favorite.
“Fairy Godmother” was acquired by MGM in a bidding war and is currently in development with Whiplash‘s Helen Estabrook to produce. Details are here.
Chiara Atik, like many successful screenwriters, garnered attention by first blogging while writing plays and two books. Missy and HSSW member Charlie Lyons (2016 Austin Film Fest Finalist in SITCOM category) will deconstruct the script, using it as a vehicle to explore what creates a hit.
